What Makes Us Different?
SunBox Solar (U) Ltd Is a for profit social enterprise focused on the provision of green and reliable/ renewable energy. Working together with Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) and Eyepower Engineering Company Limited we have invented our Solar Inverter Solution which we call the SunBox that gives our end user all the benefits of electricity but in a clean and much affordable way. The SunBox is an innovation that has been undergoing research for the past 10years.

Our SunBox
The SunBox is a one-time purchase but with forever benefits since energy is almost a basic need given its contribution to development and growth of economies. The SunBox is manufactured in 3 suitable designs to meet the Local and international Market that is the 1KV, 2KV and the 3KV which uses the Lithium Battery because we are big on reliability. All these designs can be up graded up to 6KV given the Users demand. We are experts in Manufacturing, Supply , installation and Maintenance of the SunBoxes both for commercial and residential complexes.
After several months of testing the SunBox, we are graduating to manufacturing several SunBoxes for our commercial stakeholders. Currently our engineers are completing assembling the Sun Box Welding Machine and from several tests made this is the solution to regulating costs to the Fabrication Industry. Our expert team is working at boosting an impressive Solar portfolio through manufacturing unique commercial and home use products. We call the agricultural industry to keep alert as we are also working on the solar irrigation system and many more as we will keep updating you. Our Vision is to promote green and reliable energy which will bring sustainable technologies in to the mainstream and contribute to more energy efficiency.

Knowing that green energy is the safest and most affordable we take responsibility to join hands with the environmental preservers by making use of the abundance of the Sun Energy achieve a green, cleaner and brighter tomorrow.
To achieve our vision of providing reliable green energy to everyone, we have collaborated with Equity Bank ranked among the world’s 1000 biggest banks with many branches, several ATMs, Agents, Merchants and an extensive adoption of digital banking channels to give loans to our stakeholders to be able to acquire the Sun Box and pay in installments.
Our SunBox is easy to maintain but still we have a team fully available to support our stakeholders on Maintenance. Better still our Manual has all the maintenance details of the SunBox. We will also train our stakeholders on how to use and maintain the SunBox all this is to ensure that our stakeholders fully own their Sun Box assets.
